About the Practice:
The office of Steven E. Caplan M.D., PA. and associates has provided the highest quality pediatric and adolescent healthcare in a warm, friendly and compassionate environment since 1988. Our practice is proud to provide services to families of diverse racial, religious and socio-economic groups from birth to adulthood. The friendly office staff is available to ensure that families receive assistance with all their needs. The office is based on the campus of Sinai Hospital in Baltimore City, close to major highways and public transportation. The practice includes Dr. Steven Caplan, Dr. Cindy Amitin, Catherine Searson (Nurse Practitioner) and Stacy Schwartz (Nurse Practitioner).

Dear Families, we are excited to announce some very important news. On August 26, 2024 we will be joining with 'Family Time Pediatrics' to continue to provide all of your childrens' health care needs. Family Time Pediatrics is the office of Rachel Spar, CRNP, Kenneth Tellerman, MD and Billie Ogunniyi, DNP.
Your current providers, Steven Caplan, MD, Cynthia Amitin, MD, Catherine Searson, CRNP, and Stacy Schwartz, CRNP will relocate to the practice at that time.
The new office will be located at 733 West 40th Street, Suite LL10, Baltimore, 21211, opposite the MOMs organic market, at The Rotunda. Parking is available adjacent to the building and will be free of charge! All appointments after August 26th will be transferred to the new office and all medical records will also be transferred. The morning 'Walk-in' hour will continue from 9-10am on office days. Beginning August 26, 2024, please call 410-243-8632 to contact any providers and office staff.
We believe this change can only improve the care you child receives, which is our ultimate goal. We are grateful for the trust you have shown in our practice and we look forward to continuing to provide excellent care to your babies, tots, children and teens. We look forward to seeing you in the new location.

THE 'WALK-IN HOUR'
If your child is sick and you would like them to them to be seen by a provider, you may bring them to the office between 9 - 10 am on days when the office is open. No appointment or call is needed before arrival. If you would prefer to make an appointment for another time of the day, please call the office to schedule, during office hours. We will make every effort to meet your request where possible.

We are recommending that all children over 6 months of age should receive the COVID vaccine and the FLU vaccine. If you have any questions or concerns or believe that your child has a health condition which could be worsened by the vaccines, or would like to discuss the vaccines, please don't hesitate to contact us.
